🚀Quick Start
Get Started in Three Steps
  1. Paste your existing story into the text box, or type an opening line.
  2. Choose a writing style (fantasy, romance, contemporary...).
  3. Click "Start Writing" — WriteFlow will stream the next passage in seconds.
Is there an input length limit?

Up to 3,000 characters per request. Paste just the last paragraph or two — no need for the whole story. WriteFlow already knows your story's background through Writing Memory.

What if I'm not happy with the result?

Click "Start Writing" again to regenerate. Each generation is an independent random process, so results will vary.

You can also add a directional hint at the end of your input (e.g. "Next he encounters...") to guide the output.

For tighter plot control, enable Pro mode and use the Plot Guide.

Can I use it without logging in?

Normal mode (fantasy / romance / contemporary / general) works without an account.

Pro mode, the World Bible, Writing Memory, and generation history all require login.

Pro Features
What Pro mode offers
Pro mode uses a more powerful reasoning model, fine-tuned for web-novel platforms:
Chinese: FanqieJJWXCQidianDouyinFeiluZonghengZhangyueGeneral
English: Royal RoadWattpadThrillerSci-FiAO3NoSleepEpic FantasyGeneral

Supports multi-select global tags (world setting, mechanics, plot structure) and fine-grained length control. Pro means World Bible off, best for single-chapter writing.

Here, Pro means Pro with World Bible disabled.

Is Pro mode free?

No. See the pricing table below.

Why is Pro mode slower?

Pro mode uses a reasoning model that performs internal chain-of-thought before generating. This takes extra time, but produces higher-quality output with stronger narrative logic.

How do I use the Plot Guide?

Click "Plot Guide (optional)" next to "Start Writing" to expand the panel:

  • Chapter direction: the overall arc.
  • Key events / must happen: plot points that must appear.
  • Forbidden: content you don't want.
  • Pace / tone: speed and emotional atmosphere.
What do the advanced parameters do?
  • Temperature: randomness. Higher = more varied.
  • Top P: vocabulary range. Lower = more focused.
  • Frequency Penalty: reduces repetition.
  • Presence Penalty: encourages new topics.
Does the Short Video platform require input?

No. When the "Short Video" platform is selected, you can generate without any input. The World Bible is automatically disabled in this mode.

🌍World Bible
The World Bible lets you maintain a roster of Characters / Items / Factions / Locations for your story.
When enabled, WriteFlow uses a Planner → Writer → Maintainer workflow.
Are outline mode and free writing the same?

No. With World Bible enabled, outline and free writing are treated as two separate states. In outline mode, memories are tied to chapter progression.

When should I fill in the World Bible?

If your story has recurring main characters, iconic items, or special locations, filling them in ahead of time significantly reduces continuity errors.

What does "World Bible changes detected" mean?

The Maintainer analyzes approved prose and identifies new or changed entries, prompting you to apply or dismiss.

How detailed should World Bible cards be?

Only fill in key details. For characters: appearance, personality, current status. For locations: atmosphere and notable features.

🧠Writing Memory
After each generation, a confirmation banner appears — you decide whether to save:

Chapter Summaries: WriteFlow's plot summary of this generation.
Recent Prose: the last few paragraphs, helping WriteFlow continue your prose style.
Narrative Memory: in World Bible workflow, saves foreshadowing, echoes, character states, and next suggestions.
How do I clear Writing Memory?

Go to My World → Writing Memory tab → click "Clear Writing Memory".

Should I clear it when starting a new story?

Yes, it's recommended. Otherwise the old story's style will influence the new one.

How much does Writing Memory store?
TypeStorage limitUsed per generation
Chapter SummariesLast 20Last 5
Recent ProseLast 20 recordsLast 20 paragraphs
📋Story Outline
The Story Outline is a chapter-planning tool designed for long-form writing. Manage chapters in the "Outline" tab of the My World page.
What do the chapter statuses mean?

Done: Finished, content in Writing Memory.
In Progress: Currently being written.
· Upcoming: Not yet started.

Why am I being asked to mark chapter as complete?

When World Bible is enabled, WriteFlow stores Writing Memory per chapter. If you do not mark the chapter complete, new memory will overwrite the previous one.

💳Credits & Plans
Base credits

English-site credits are separate from Chinese-site credits. The English site grants starter credits independently.

Using a custom API does not consume platform credits.

How charging works

Before generation WriteFlow only checks whether your balance is high enough. The UI shows an estimate only.

Actual credits are deducted after each AI response returns usage. World Bible workflow bills Planner, Writer, and Maintainer as separate stages.

If the provider fails or no usage is returned, credits are not deducted and a billing error record is kept for support review.

Invite rewards

Invite rewards currently grant Chinese-site credits. English-site paid plans will be opened later.
